Here’s a fun game I like to play. I love going on Polyvore and “shopping my closet” when I’m at a loss for outfit inspiration. Remember those pixie pants i was obsessing over? I bought them in white, too. If you like something, get it in every color, right? I’ve never worn white denim before, but it’s such a crisp and clean alternative to blue jeans, how could I not give it a go. Well. This outfit is a combination of “transitional” pieces that I have in my wardrobe. I’m determined to start incorporating spring into my  aesthetic, bit by bit. I like this outfit because it’s very classic yet very casual. The white pants and navy blouse make a wonderful canvas for some more “fun” pieces like the bubble necklace and Madewell flats (which I am still DYING to wear.) I would feel comfortable wearing this class and then out with friends, or into Manhattan for a day of shopping, or to see a show, really anywhere! Also, after months and months of donning my navy Parka, putting on a light trench is going to feel SO GOOD. The one I have is light tan with orange piping, but this Zara version is adorable as well.  I can’t wait to start playing with pieces like this as the weather warms up and hopefully I can re-create this outfit for you all!
What winter/spring transitions are you most excited about?
Much love,
Sarah.
